GABRIELE MÜNTER M

GABRIELE MÜNTER M S 307 Gabriele Münter, 1877 Berlin – 1962 Murnau am Staffelsee HAUS SCHUSTER-WINKLER, 1932 Öl auf Papier auf Karton. 25 x 32 cm. Links unten monogrammiert. Anmerkung: Rückwärtig betitelt „Murnau / Haus Schuster / Winkler / 1932“. Gestempeltes Sammlungsetikett der Eisenmann KG mit Sammlungsnummer „25“. Daneben in schwarz eingekreiste „5“. Oben rechts Vermerk „1156 Eisenmann“. Gabriele Münter, 1877 Berlin – 1962 Murnau am Staffelsee HAUS SCHUSTER-WINKLER [HOUSE SCHUSTER-WINKLER], 1932 Oil on paper, laid on card. 25 x 32 cm. Monogrammed lower left. Note “1156 Eisenmann” top right. Transport company label of Josef Roggendorf GmbH on the reverse of the frame for transport from Eisenmann, Böblingen to Kunst verein Hamburg with no. “14”. Comparison: A beautiful example for comparison is a watercolour with the same motif that was exhibited at “Gabriele Münter malt Murnau”, Schloßmuseum, Murnau 1996. August-Macke-Haus, Bonn 1996/97, exhibition catalogue, p. 58/59 (ill.). Comparison regarding the motif: A photograph which was probably taken in 1908 shows Alexej von Jawlensky (1864-1961), Marianne von Werefkin (1860-1938), Andreas von Jawlensky (1902-1984) and Gabriele Münter on Sollerstraße in Murnau (see ill.).
