GABRIELE MÜNTER M S Gabriele Münter, 1877 Berlin – 1962 Murnau am Staffelsee SEE AM ABEND, 1914 Öl auf Karton. 69 x 54 cm. Rechts unten signiert „Münter“. Rückwärtig signiert „Münter“ und datiert „1914“. Betitelt in blauem Stift „G. Münter / See am Abend“. Verso links unten Münter-Nachlassstempel. In schwarzem breiten Rahmen. In bewegter horizontaler Staffelung wird dem Betrachter in violettisierten Grüntönen eine hügelige Landschaft mit konturiertem Bewuchs und Hüttenbestand vorgestellt mit abschließenden Hügeln. Diese kontrastieren wirkungsvoll im oberen Bilddrittel mit dem See, der das abendliche Sonnenlicht in seiner Gänze reetiert oriontale olenbnder staffeln den schalen oriont und reetieren das treifenuster des i ittelgrund befindlichen Kornfeldes aria halden bei Rorschach in der Schweiz, welches auf der Rückseite eines ebenfalls ehemals in der Sammlung isenann befindlichen eldes erwhnt wird ist aber hier wohl nicht gemeint. Dass jedoch auch hier eine Bodenseelandschaft gemeint sein könnte, liegt nahe, so hielt sie sich 1914 mit Kandinsky am Südufer des Bodensees auf. Provenienz: Bedeutende süddeutsche Privatsammlung.
