540 Majolika-Vase Höhe: 30 cm. Durchmesser: 26,5 cm. Faenza, um 1490 - 1500. Große, kugelförmige Vase, die sich zum Fuß hin etwas verjüngt. Enge, runde Öffnung, etwas auskragend. Das Dekor "alla porcellana" teilt die Vase in drei Register. Auf der Fußzone ist die Bemalung stark verdichtet mit großen Blüten und Ranken. Das breite Hauptregister zieren zarte Ranken, in denen große Palmetten starke Akzente setzen und das Dekor rhythmisieren. Den oberen Abschluss bilden ein Zick-Zack-Muster an der Schulter sowie unterschiedlich breite Ringe. Bruchrest. und ein Glasurbrandfehler. (8910325) Maiolica vase Height: 30 cm. Diameter: 26.5 cm. Faenza, circa 1490 - 1500. Large, spherical vase tapering towards the base. Narrow, round, sligthly flared opening. The alla porcellana decoration divides the vase into three parts. Very or nate painting around the base depicts large flowers and vines. The broad main part is ornamented with delicate vines accentuated by large palmettes making for a very rhythmic pattern. Casteldurante, 16. Jahrhundert. Teller auf kleinem Ring. Gelber, schmaler Rahmen. Über die gesamte Fläche Bella Donna-Darstellung auf dunkelblauem Fond. Die Büste der schönen Rothaa - rigen ist zu sehen, sie blickt den Betrachter direkt an. Ihr rötliches Haar wird hinten von weißen Tüchern gehalten. Ihr weißes Hemd ist mit einem zarten, blauen Muster bestickt und wird von einem roten Bändchen lose gehalten. Links neben ihrem Kopf ist ein Namens - band platziert, auf dem ihr Name "Porzia B(ella)" zu lesen ist. Bemalung in Blau, Orangerot, Ocker, Mangan und Gelb. Die Unterseite weiß glasiert. Bruchrest. Dish on a small ring. Narrow, yellow border. The entire surface is painted with a bella donna portrait on a dark blue ground. The half-length portrait depicts a beautiful lady with red hair looking straight out at the onlooker. Her red hair is tied up with white a scarf at the back.
